Procedure/OR Days: 2–3 per week

On-Call: Shared call with 3 interventionalists

Weekend Call: EP locum will take general call on the weekend either preceding or following weekday coverage

Availability Requirement: Full-time (1 or more weeks per month)

Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient

Outreach: No current outreach sites

Telehealth Available
-
Average Clinic Volume: 20–25 patients per day
-
Average Hospital Census: 10–20 cardiology patients daily
-
Appointment Length: 15–30 minutes
-
Patient Population: Serving Siouxland and surrounding area (100,000+ population)

Physicians: 3
-
Advanced Practice Providers: 5
-
EP PA available to assist with post-procedure and established patients
-
Supervision of APPs: Yes
-
Physician-to-Nurse Ratio: 1:1
-
Ancillary Staff per Provider: 2:1

Exam Rooms per Provider: 5
-
Onsite Medical Imaging, Lab, and Pharmacy

Teaching Opportunities: Internships and Preceptors

Clinic visits (new and established)

Electrophysiology procedures
-
Device monitoring: loop recorders, pacemakers, ICDs

In-clinic device transmissions and reprogramming
-
General call coverage
-
On-site and remote device transmissions
-
EP studies
-
Ablations: AFib, AFlutter, SVT, PVC, VT
-
Pacemaker, ICD, temporary pacer, loop recorder insertions

Generator changes
-
TEE
-
Cardioversions
-
Cerner PowerChart
-
Board Certified or Board Eligible (new graduates considered) – Required
-
Fellowship Trained in Electrophysiology – Required

Active Iowa License or Active IMLC – Required

Must be available full-time (1+ weeks per month) – Required
