About Us
Florida Cardiology PA is the largest independent cardiology group in Central Florida, proudly
serving our community for over 40 years. Our team of board-certified cardiologists and
advanced practice providers delivers world-class cardiovascular care across multiple clinic
locations and affiliated ambulatory surgical centers. We are expanding our Electrophysiology
team and seeking a highly skilled and patient-focused Electrophysiologist to join our growing
practice.

Position Summary

The Electrophysiologist will provide comprehensive diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative care in the field of cardiac electrophysiology. This role includes clinical and procedural responsibilities, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, participation in the call rotation, and involvement in quality improvement initiatives to support exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

Clinical Care

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with cardiac arrhythmias and complex electrophysiological conditions.

  • Perform consultations in clinic, hospital rounds, and emergency situations as needed.

  • Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with Florida Cardiology standards of care.

Procedural Duties

  • Perform EP procedures including but not limited to:

    • Atrial and ventricular ablations

    • Device implantation (pacemakers, ICDs, CRTs)

    • Device extractions (if applicable)

    • Electrophysiology studies

  • Interpret device interrogations and remote monitoring data.

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Work closely with referring physicians, cardiologists, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff.

  • Participate in physician meetings, case reviews, and interdisciplinary care planning.

  • Support the training of clinical staff and contribute to ongoing quality and safety initiatives.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure accurate, timely documentation in EMR systems.

  • Maintain compliance with hospital bylaws, regulatory requirements, and Florida Cardiology policies.

  • Participate in call schedule as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology.

  • Completion of an accredited EP fellowship.

  • Active or eligible Florida medical license.

  • Strong diagnostic, procedural, and interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrated commitment to high-quality patient care and team collaboration.
