Electrophysiology Physician Locums coverage needed urgently in Arizona | flexible schedule and long term contract

Aya Healthcare is seeking a skilled Electrophysiologist to provide locum services in Flagstaff, Arizona. This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrophysiology Physician looking for flexible scheduling and a rewarding work environment. Coverage is needed beginning February 2, 2026, and is ongoing for a minimum of 13 weeks.

Job Details

• Case Types: Cardiac electrophysiology (heart rhythm disturbances) and left-sided ablations.

  • Note: The facility requires case logs showing at least 100 EP cases in the last 2 years with an emphasis on ablations.

• Setting: Acute Care Hospital and In-Office Clinic.

• Schedule: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch). No call requirements.

  • Specific weeks: Feb 2–6, Feb 9–13, Feb 23–27, Mar 16–20, Apr 6–10, Apr 13–17, May 4–8, June 29–July 3, July 20–24.

• Support: Hospital consults (3–4/day) and EP cases (4–6/day). Must be comfortable performing TEEs and moderate sedation independently.

• EMR System: Cerner (Training provided).

Requirements

• Board Certification: BC/BE in Electrophysiology.

• State License: Arizona (Active license preferred, but "willing to license" candidates are accepted).

• Certifications: ACLS and DEA (AZ registered) required.

• Experience: Minimum 1 year; must be proficient with the Abbott Ensite-X Mapping system.
