Join Our Team as an Electrophysiology Physician – Make a Difference in Cardiac Care

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Electrophysiology Physician to join our dynamic healthcare team. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialized care in cardiac electrophysiology, including diagnosing and treating heart rhythm disturbances.
  • Perform Ablation procedures, including heart rhythm disturbance interventions and TEEs, with proficiency in moderate sedation.
  • Utilize Abbott Ensite-X Mapping system confidently to support diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • Manage hospital consults with 3-4 per day and perform 4-6 EP cases daily, ensuring comprehensive patient care.
  • Comply with hospital protocols, documentation standards, and safety guidelines.

Required Skills:
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology with specialization in Electrophysiology.
  • AZ State licensure (or eligible for licensure).
  • Certified in ACLS.
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical electrophysiology experience.
  • Demonstrated competency in Ablation procedures, with evidence of performing at least 100 EP cases in the last 2 years.
  • Proficiency in using Cerner EMR and Abbott Ensite-X Mapping system.
  • Ability to perform moderate sedation independently.
  • Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Prior experience in a hospital setting involving complex EP procedures.
  • Familiarity with additional cardiac procedures or imaging modalities.
  • Bilingual capability or experience working with diverse patient populations.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
  • Active AZ license or eligibility.
  • At least 1 year of electrophysiology practice with a focus on ablations and related procedures.

Other Requirements:
  • Availability for ongoing contract starting February 2, 2026.
  • Shifts scheduled from 07:00 to 17:00, with some variations throughout the year.
  • Ability to work independently with moderate sedation and advanced mapping technology.
  • Commitment to adhering to all safety, documentation, and quality standards.

Compensation:
  • Hourly Pay Rate: $407.55
  • Shift Length: 10 hours per day
  • Overtime: 1.5x rate for hours worked beyond scheduled shift or on recognized holidays (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas).
