Electrophysiology Physician

This critical role involves performing advanced cardiac electrophysiology procedures in a hospital setting, supporting a busy cath lab with a focus on heart rhythm disturbances, ablations, and moderate sedation. Required Skills:
  • Board Certification (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Cardiology
  • Valid Arizona medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • Arizona DEA registration
  • ACLS certification
  • Demonstrated experience performing at least 100 EP cases, with an emphasis on ablations, in the past two years
  • Skilled in performing cardiac ablations and managing heart rhythm disturbances
  • Proficient in moderate sedation and TEEs
  • Comfortable using Abbott Ensite-X mapping system
  • Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with Cerner EMR system
  • Prior experience in hospital and outpatient clinic settings
  • Familiarity with additional electrophysiology procedures or advanced cardiac mapping technologies

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Minimum of 1 year of electrophysiology experience
  • Proven track record of successful case management and patient outcomes in complex EP procedures

Other Requirements:
  • Ability to work full-time, day shifts (7:00 am - 5:00 pm) with occasional schedule flexibility
  • Willingness to participate in rotating holiday coverage at 1.5x pay
  • Venture readiness for credentialing (estimated within 30 days)
  • Eligible for licensure in Arizona, with all corresponding certifications in place or in progress

The hourly pay rate for this position is $407.55.
