A hospital-based cardiovascular program in Oshkosh, Wisconsin is seeking a Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiologist for locum tenens coverage. This opportunity offers a balanced clinic and procedural schedule, strong APC support, and minimal call-back burden.
Assignment Details ASAP start Ongoing need Facility will accept multiple providers
Schedule Clinic hours range from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Clinic: 2 days per week Procedures scheduled 2–3 days per week Call shifts: 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 a.m.
Call Responsibilities Call covers assigned and unassigned patients Minimal call-back volume for EP providers 30-minute call response time required Approximately 2 phone consults Call ratio: 2:3 Average of 15 call patients seen
Practice Setting Inpatient and outpatient setting Hospital is Stroke Certified Trauma Level II facility Admissions required
Facility Details 90-bed hospital Average of 25 clinic patients per shift
Support Staff Position supported by two full-time APCs One inpatient APC One outpatient APC
Orientation Five business days if EPIC training is required
Requirements Board Certified in Internal Medicine with Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology certification – Required Active Wisconsin license or IMLC – Accepted Fellowship preferred ACLS and BLS – Required
