  • Other Details: The schedule runs from December 29 to January 2, 2026, with additional coverage needed for 1–2 weeks per month throughout the year, including Jan 12–16, Mar 2–6, Mar 16–20, Mar 23–27, Apr 13–17, Apr 27–May 1, May 26–29, June 8–12, June 15–19, Jul 6–10, Aug 10–14, and Aug 17–21. The shift is from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a one-hour lunch break. The provider will see 20–22 adult patients per day in the clinic, with additional hospital consults (3–4 per day) and electrophysiology (EP) cases (4–6 per day depending on case length). The role focuses on cardiac electrophysiology, particularly heart rhythm disturbances and ablations, requiring documentation of at least 100 EP cases in the past two years with emphasis on ablations. The provider must be comfortable performing moderate sedation independently, conducting TEEs, and using the Abbott Ensite-X Mapping system. The position covers both hospital and in-office clinic settings. EMR used is Cerner, and the hospital has 268 beds. Board certification or eligibility is required, along with an active or obtainable AZ license, AZ DEA registration, ACLS certification, and at least one year of experience. The credentialing timeframe is approximately 30 days. COVID-19 and flu vaccines are required, with medical or religious exemptions or declinations allowed.

Job Responsibilities

* Perform cardiac electrophysiology procedures, including ablations and TEEs
* Conduct hospital consults (3–4 per day) and EP cases (4–6 per day depending on case length)
* Provide patient care in both hospital and in-office clinic settings
* Manage 20–22 adult patients per day in the clinic
* Perform moderate sedation independently
* Utilize the Abbott Ensite-X Mapping system
* Participate in ongoing coverage as scheduled
* Complete billable orientation hours as required

Qualifications

* Board Certified or Board Eligible
* Active or obtainable AZ medical license
* AZ DEA registration required
* ACLS certification required
* Minimum of 1 year of experience
* Must show 100 EP cases in the last 2 years, emphasizing ablations
* Comfortable with moderate sedation and TEEs
* COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
