🩺 Locum Tenens Opportunity: Board-Certified Electrophysiologist Proctor
Location:
THOP Sierra & East Campuses – El Paso, TX Start Date: As soon as credentialing is completed Duration: 10 cases total (short-term assignment)

The Hospitals of Providence are urgently seeking a Board-Certified Electrophysiologist to serve as a proctor for one of our physicians. This is a time-sensitive locums opportunity focused exclusively on procedural oversight.

🔍 Scope of Work

  • Proctoring 10 ablation cases:

    • 5 Premature Ventricular Contraction (PVC) ablations

    • 5 Atrial Fibrillation (AFib) ablations

  • No additional clinical responsibilities

  • On-site presence required only for scheduled cases

Requirements

  • Board Certification in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology

  • Prior experience proctoring ablation procedures preferred

  • Active medical license (Texas or eligible for expedited credentialing)

  • Availability for immediate start upon credentialing

📍 Location Details

  • Cases will be performed at THOP Sierra Campus and THOP East Campus

  • Travel and lodging support available for out-of-town providers
