Job description
We are seeking a Board-Certified Electrophysiologist to join its expanding Heart Rhythm Institute in Detroit and Warren, MI. This full-time role includes leadership opportunities, procedural volume, built-in referrals, and academic involvement in a major health system.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform pacemaker/defibrillator implants and ablations (right & left-sided)
• Maintain shared 2:1 call ratio with another EP physician
• Participate in inpatient rounding during call weeks (APP support included)
• Build/manage a high-volume patient panel with strong internal referrals
• Engage in resident/fellow education (200+ residents, 30 fellows)
• Use Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with cardiothoracic surgeons, APPs, and cardiology teams
Qualifications
• Completion of Accredited Cardiology + EP Fellowships
• Minimum 2–3 years post-fellowship experience preferred
• Active or eligible Michigan Medical License
• Must have: BLS, ACLS, PALS, DEA, CSR/CDS (prior to start)
• Clean malpractice and licensure history
Working Hours
• Weekend/On-call: Shared, rotational call (2:1 ratio)

• Comfortable with high-acuity, fast-paced hospital settings
