🫀 Cardiology Electrophysiologist needed in Erie, PA!

📌 Position Overview

We are seeking a Board-Certified Cardiac Electrophysiologist to provide PRN locum coverage at a leading health system in Erie, PA. This role supports a backfill/bench provider need and complements an existing locum physician. The ideal candidate will be available for ongoing coverage every other week and committed to delivering high-quality care across both inpatient and outpatient settings.

🏥 Clinical Details

• Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm (8-hour day with 1-hour lunch)

  • 1 day in office, remaining days in hospital/EP Lab

• Call: None

• EMR: Epic

• Volume:

  • Office: ~19 patients/day

  • Hospital: ~8–10 patients/day

• Procedures:

  • Atrial fibrillation/flutter ablations

  • Pacemaker & ICD implantation

  • SVT ablations

  • Tilt table testing

  • Biventricular device management

👥 Support Team

• EP Lab staff

• Medical Assistant & Nurse in office

• APPs for consults, admissions, and discharges

✅ Requirements

• Board Certified in Cardiac Electrophysiology

• Active DEA

• ACLS & BLS certifications

• Will accept IMLC licensure candidates

• Minimum commitment: 1 week/month

• Hospital privileging: 45–60 days
