EP Cardiology at West Virginia University Heart and Vascular Institute

Multiple Locations Available | Morgantown, West Virginia

WVU School of Medicine and the WVU Heart and Vascular Institute are looking for an electrophysiology cardiologist to join the most comprehensive EP program in West Virginia. It's a full academic role with real clinical depth, a collaborative team, and the kind of statewide impact that's hard to find outside of a flagship institution.

Position Overview

  • Faculty appointment at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or full Professor
  • Advanced EP practice within the state's most comprehensive inpatient and outpatient EP program
  • Multidisciplinary collaboration with cardiothoracic surgery, non-invasive and general cardiology, radiology, and vascular specialists
  • Program supported by fellowship-trained physicians, nurse coordinators, pharmacists, nutritionists, and rehab specialists

Academic & Clinical Focus

  • Advanced electrophysiology care using current technology and techniques
  • Active teaching across medical students, internal medicine residents, and cardiology fellows
  • Opportunities in research, program development, and academic leadership

Candidate Profile

  • MD or DO, Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiac Electrophysiology
  • Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in West Virginia
