This prestigious Medical School is now accepting applications for a full-time, employed faculty position in the Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiology, at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. Expertise is required in the specific area of cardiac ablation procedures including atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia. Applicants must also be trained in the performance of lead extraction procedures.

Responsibilities will include up to 3 days of EP laboratory coverage and 2 days of outpatient hours per week, patient care in cardiac consultative and inpatient services, on-call coverage and teaching responsibilities.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • MD or DO from an Accredited Program – Required
  • Board certified/eligible in Cardiology and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology (CCEP)
  • The ability to obtain a medical license in the Commonwealth of PA prior to start date

The University’s Heart Institute is the center of the division’s outpatient clinical practice, including patient testing, anticoagulation program, cardiovascular risk reduction program, and the Advanced Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplant Center.
