Rate: $1800/day
Must be available for full time hours every week
Practice Profile and Name Clear Form Attached
(full-time hours each week) Model Care-team model TBD Practice Information Approximately 15,000 OR cases annually. In addition, approximately 2000 deliveries and 200 cardiac case including TAVR, mitral valve clip ant watchman procedures. Call Requirements • MD Call: o MD call is 16 hours a day and is in-house. Approximately 4 times a month. Post day call off o Cardiac beeper/back up call: 6-7 calls a month for cardiac physicians o Saturday, Sunday and holidays: 24-hour call 18 ORS plus endo, cardiac and OB Case Mix / Clinical Skills: • Cases for the OR are medically directed, OB CRNAs are supervised • Cases include general, ortho, urology, ENT/ophthalmology, bariatric, vascular, neuro, thoracic, GYN, dermatology, plastic, cardiac and OB. No trauma • There is always 1 MD and 1 CRNA in-house 24 hours a day • Cardiac cases are medically directed and some of the CRNAs do hearts • OB team of In-house CRNAs Additional Information • 283-bed hospital • Approximately 4,446 inpatient and 11,497 outpatient surgeries • Paper charting • Flu Shot and TB: information pending • ACLS / BLS: information pending • Case logs required • All locums are required to complete documentation training (takes no more than 30 minutes). • Compliance training mandatory; needs to be completed within 30 days of start. Annual compliance each fall. • Flexibility is key with all locums; no clock watchers, please.
