- Weekend coverage: About one weekend per month. Either 7a-6p Sat/Sun, or 6p-7a Sat/Sun. (Backup calls covered by CRNAs).
- Weekday shifts: D1-D5, with first doc leaving by noon and last by 7:30pm (depending on the OR schedule)
- Weekday Overnight: 730pm-7am, with post-overnight always off
- Cases are mostly bread and butter with Ortho, GI, Uro, Gyn, OB
- Strong Regional Skills Required
- Overnight Shifts 1 are roughly 1 in 8
- Assists in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department
- Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
- M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
- ECFMG and FLEX
- Completion of approved Residency in Anesthesia
