Offering a comprehensive array of programs and services to patients from Nassau and Southeastern Queens Counties, We have one of the most advanced Emergency Departments in the region and a 21-bed short-term psychiatric unit. The hospital is home to a state-of-the-art 120-bed facility. This facility houses the hospitals long-term care and rehabilitative medicine department and the medically oriented Adult Day Health Care Program. Awards and accreditations include: American Heart Association/American Stroke Association Gold Stroke Quality Achievement Award Commission on Cancer Accreditation.
Located within 25 miles from New York City in Valley Stream, New York, nearby attractions include Nassau County Museum of Art Cradle of Aviation Museum Oyster Bay National Wildfire Refuge Sagamore Hill National Historic Site. Position Requirements:
Assists in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department
Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
ECFMC and FLEX
Completion of approved Residency in Anesthesia
Currently licensed as a Physician
