Physician - Anesthesiology

Job Details:

• 2-3 full-time MD positions available to start as soon as possible
  
• 13-week assignment
  
• Anesthesia staffing model consists of 4 physicians and 10 advanced practice providers (CRNA/AA)
  
• 10 operating rooms staffed daily with an average of 25 cases per day
  
• Non-OR anesthesia (NORA) sites include Cath Lab, Endoscopy, and Interventional Radiology
  
• Case types include Bariatric, Orthopedic/Spine, Vascular, Neurology, GYN, GI, Endoscopy, ENT, and Urology
  
• No trauma, pediatric, or OB cases
  
• 100% supervision/medical direction model
  
• Charting system/EMR: Medaxion
  
• Typical non-call day schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  
• Typical on-call day schedule: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM with call from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Monday through Friday
  
• Weekends are beeper call only with 24-hour call shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM
  
• Call expectation: Beeper with a 1:4 call frequency/rotation
  
• Post-call policy: First out
  
• Average hours worked per week: 40
  
• No regularly scheduled ORs on weekends
