Physician - Anesthesiology
Job Details:
Full-time general anesthesia physician position35-45 cases daily with high-level acuity including cardiovascular, transplant, endoscopy, electrophysiology, catheterization, orthopedic, and neurology cases
Shift hours are 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM with evening cardiovascular beeper call and 24-hour weekend beeper call as backup to in-house providers
Weekend and occasional weeknight general beeper call coverage required
Must be willing to work own cases independently as well as supervise CRNAs depending on daily census
Care team model in place with PHY/CRNA medical supervision
Support staff includes anesthesia technicians, nursing, and operating room assistants
Possible case types include general anesthesia, monitored care, neuraxial, and peripheral nerve blocks
EMR systems used: Medaxion, Meditech, and Patient Keeper
Florida state medical license required
Board certified or board eligible required
DEA/CSR requirements apply
