Job description
We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Anesthesiology Physician to join a collaborative anesthesia team in Martinsburg, West Virginia. This opportunity provides comprehensive anesthetic care for cardiac and surgical patients in a hospital-based setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive anesthesia care for cardiac and surgical patients
- Evaluate patients preoperatively and develop individualized anesthesia plans
- Administer and manage general and regional anesthesia as appropriate
- Provide perioperative hemodynamic and airway management
- Manage complex and high-acuity cardiac cases
- Provide postoperative care and assist with pain management
- Collaborate with surgeons, cardiologists, CRNAs, and other members of the care team
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
Requirements
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
- Fellowship training in Cardiac Anesthesiology preferred
- Active West Virginia medical license or eligibility
- DEA registration
- ACLS and BLS certification
