GlobalPoint Healthcare is seeking 4 Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologists for a long-term federal healthcare opportunity in Albany, New York, serving our Nation’s Veterans.
There are 1 onsite position and 3 on-call positions available, allowing candidates to be considered for the coverage arrangement that best fits their availability.
This is a 5-year opportunity from November 1, 2026 through October 31, 2031.
Job Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive anesthesiology services in accordance with established clinical standards and facility requirements. Responsibilities may include evaluating patients before procedures, developing appropriate anesthesia plans, administering and managing anesthesia, monitoring patients throughout procedures, providing post-anesthesia care, responding to anesthesia-related clinical needs, maintaining accurate medical documentation, and collaborating with surgeons, physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team.
On-call physicians will provide anesthesia coverage during their assigned weeknight, weekend, and/or holiday periods.

Qualifications
Required documentation includes:
* Current CV
* Evidence of Board Certification or Board Eligibility
* Current BLS
* Current ACLS
* NPI
* DEA
Working Hours
Monday–Friday
7:00 AM–5:30 PM
Approximately 2,180 annual hours, consisting of 2,080 regular hours plus approximately 100 overtime hours.
On-Call Coverage – 3 Physicians:
Weeknights, Monday–Friday: 5:30 PM–7:00 AM
Weekends: 7:00 AM Saturday–7:00 AM Monday
Holiday coverage: 7:00 AM–7:00 AM (24-hour period)
Specific on-call rotations and individual coverage assignments will be coordinated based on facility requirements.
