Locums – (ASC) - Washington, Pennsylvania, Anesthesiologist Job

• Start Date: November 9, 2026

• Coverage Needed: At least 2 locum Anesthesiologists

• Estimated Shifts: Approximately 23 shifts/month

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, typically 6:30 AM–3:30 PM

• Call: No call

• Experience: 0 years minimum; new graduates may be considered

• Solo Practice: Yes

• Pennsylvania medical license required to apply

• IMLC candidates accepted

• Active PA license or IMLC preferred

• Candidates without an active license may also be considered

• DEA required

• CSR not required

• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Anesthesiology

• PALS required

• TEE certification not required

• Additional certifications will be determined during credentialing

Candidate must be comfortable with:

• General Anesthesiology

• Regional Anesthesia / Nerve Blocks

• Supervising CRNAs

• Working independently/solo

• Pediatric cases

• Orthopedic cases

• Plastics

• GI

• ENT

• Urology

• Other ambulatory surgery cases

Regional block skills are required.

Candidate must be comfortable performing:

• Pectoral blocks

• Adductor canal blocks

• Popliteal blocks

• Upper-extremity blocks

Experience with regional anesthesia is particularly important due to the volume of orthopedic and plastics cases.

• Ambulatory surgery setting

• Approximately 12 ORs at the primary location

• Primarily a CRNA supervision role

• APP/mid-level coverage available

• One Anesthesiologist may cover the secondary surgery center each day

• If no cases are scheduled at the secondary location, the physician returns to the primary location

• Majority of shifts will be at the primary location

• Physician must be able to cover both locations as needed

• No call at the secondary surgery center

• GI: 25% and increasing

• Urology: 27%

• Plastics: 16%

• Orthopedics: 13%

• ENT: 8%

• Pain: 7%

• Podiatry: 2%

• General: 2%

• Paper charts

• Future transition to Epic planned

• Physicians must be comfortable supervising CRNAs

• With the high volume of GI cases, physicians may run up to 4 rooms with 1 Anesthesiologist
