Locums | Anesthesiology | Belfast, ME (any state license accepted; ME obtained during credentialing) Why This Role

  • Epic environment
Assignment Details Start/end: ASAP, ongoing Schedule: 7am-3:30pm; full-time preferred, less than full-time considered Call: Weeknight call approximately every third night, flexible; 24-hour weekend call approximately 1 weekend/month Volume: Approximately 14-16 surgical cases/day including endoscopy Setting: Critical access hospital; 3 anesthesia sites/day across OR and endoscopy Patient population: Ages 3 through 100+ Support: 4 anesthesiologists; congenial, professional OR staff EMR: Epic Credentialing: 60-90 days Clinical Details Required scope: General adult surgical anesthesia Minor nerve blocks and plexus anesthesia Epidural, spinal, and regional anesthesia Obstetrical anesthesia; approximately 4-6 deliveries/month Acute pain management Arterial line placement Evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues Physicians perform their own cases; no CRNA supervision 30-minute call response time Requirements Board certified in Anesthesiology License: any state license accepted; active ME license or IMLC LOQ highly preferred Epic experience required Active DEA Compensation Rate caps apply per facility Malpractice provided Travel and lodging reimbursed
