Interventional Anesthesia Spine Physician Location: Binghamton, NY Position / Practice • Seeking an Interventional Spine Physician to support the continued growth and succession planning of an established non-operative spine practice • Primarily based in Binghamton, NY, with outreach clinics in Norwich and Walton • Primarily focused on non-operative and interventional spine care • Strong regional referral base and large, established primary care network • Established multidisciplinary team including: o 2 Interventional Spine Physicians o 5 Advanced Practice Providers o 1 Clinical Psychologist o 1 Social Worker • Practice performs more than 4,000 interventional procedures and 24,000 clinic visits annually • Procedures performed at a hospital-sponsored, four-OR ambulatory surgery center adjacent to the clinic, providing efficient access and a streamlined patient experience Clinical Responsibilities • Perform a full range of non-operative and interventional spine procedures • Fluoroscopy-guided spine injections • Radiofrequency ablation • Spinal cord stimulation • Other advanced interventional spine techniques • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary spine care team Qualifications • Board Certified or Board Eligible • Residency training in Anesthesiology • Fellowship training in Pain Medicine • Eligible for medical licensure in New York Multidisciplinary Support • Physical Therapy specialists with expertise in spine and musculoskeletal care • 5 Neurosurgeons providing comprehensive adult cranial and spine surgery • Chiropractic team • Collaborative approach to comprehensive spine care • Opportunities to teach residents and medical students • Opportunities to participate in clinical research Compensation & Benefits • Competitive starting salary: $470,000–$595,000 • Sign-on bonus • Relocation assistance • Malpractice insurance • Robust retirement plan • Excellent benefits package Healthcare System • Established not-for-profit healthcare system serving communities throughout the Southern Tier of Upstate New York • Provides primary and specialty care across Broome, Chenango, Delaware, and Tioga counties • More than 7,000 employees • Teaching hospital affiliated with SUNY Upstate Medical University and a university-based Health Sciences Center • Trains more than 100 physicians annually through residency and fellowship programs About Binghamton, NY • Located approximately 2.5 hours north of New York City and 1 hour from Syracuse, NY • Progressive university community with a strong healthcare presence • Safe living environment and diverse community • Nearby lakes, ski resorts, golf courses, and wineries • Access to a symphony orchestra and opera company • Offers a variety of recreational, cultural, and outdoor activities
