Contract Details
Hours: 7-3, 7-5, 7-7 and call
Call scheduled: 1-2 times per week and occasional 24-hour weekend
Any supervision: Yes, 1 MD and always 4:1 ratio
Type of cases required: Facility 1 - General, vascular, neuro, OB/GYN (~1000 deliveries/yr), urology — everything except hearts and complicated peds. Facility2 - Healthy peds dental and ENT (can be as young as 1 yr old, very rare it’s younger), ENT, cataracts, ortho (no totals), endoscopy
Spinals, Blocks, Epidurals - must be proficient: Proficiency in brachial plexus spinals, truncal and lower extremity blocks. Techniques include spinal, interscalene, adductor, and popliteal
Case logs required: Yes - proof of epidurals, spinals and blocks
EMR System: EPIC
Dates needing coverage:
October 10-11, October 24, November 2-4, November 15, November 21, November 23-25, November 27, November 30, December 14-18, December 16-17, December 21-24, December 28-29, and December 31
