Pediatric Anesthesiologist – Full-Time Locums | Houston Metro, Texas
Overview
A healthcare organization in the Houston metro area is seeking a Pediatric Anesthesiologist for a full-time locum tenens assignment. This opportunity combines weekday anesthesia coverage with overnight and weekend home call in a care-team model with CRNA support. (Job ID: 51750)
Details
- Start Date: November 1, 2026
- Assignment Length: Through April 18, 2027
- Schedule: Weekday day shifts with overnight and weekend home call
- Day Shifts: 7am-3pm or 7am-5pm
- Call: 24-hour unrestricted pediatric home call
- Setting: Hospital and ambulatory surgery
- Patient Population: Pediatrics
- Scope: Pediatric anesthesia with additional obstetric and tertiary surgical coverage
- Care Model: CRNA-supported anesthesia team
- Supervision: Oversight of CRNAs and 1-3 ORs
- Coverage: Flexibility to work across affiliated locations as needed
Requirements
- Board Eligible or Board Certified
- Pediatric anesthesia experience preferred
- Comfortable supervising CRNAs in a care-team model
- New graduates will be considered
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
