We’re seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Anesthesiologist (MD/DO) for a 6-month locum assignment in Potsdam, New York, with ongoing coverage needs.
📍 Position Highlights
- Location: Potsdam, NY
- Start Date: October 19, 2026
- Duration: 6 months, ongoing as needed
- Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
- Call: Weekday call 3:00 PM–7:00 AM
- Weekend Call: Friday 7:00 AM–Monday 7:00 AM
- Rural/critical access setting
- Emergency privileges available
🚨 Immediate Coverage Needs
- Oct 19–23: No weekday call
- Nov 5–13: Weekend call Nov 6–8 + weekday call Nov 10 & 12
- Dec 21–30: Urgent holiday call coverage needed Dec 24–27
🏥 Practice Details
- Inpatient anesthesia
- OB anesthesia & epidurals
- General anesthesia
- Scheduled surgeries
- Possible CRNA supervision
- Approximately 10–15 patients/day
- Epic EMR
✅ Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
- Active NY license in hand
- BLS, ACLS & PALS
- AHA or RQI certifications
- Epic experience required
- Comfortable working in a rural/critical access setting
- Must have current work history with no gaps of 30+ days
- Residents and fellows cannot be considered
