Ongoing locums coverage needs
Assignment Details
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: Ongoing
Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
Setting: Inpatient hospital
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-10 hour shifts with overnight and weekend call
Call: Required
Cases: Approximately 360-450 cardiac cases/year
Patient Population: Adult and geriatric only
EMR: Epic
Credentialing: Approximately 60-90 days
Clinical Details
Required Scope: Cardiothoracic anesthesia coverage including open heart, thoracic, vascular, and structural heart cases; general OR anesthesia support as needed; hands-on cardiac anesthesia care with occasional CRNA supervision
Preferred Scope: Cardiac anesthesiology fellowship training
Excluded Scope: Pediatric cases
Requirements
Board Certified in Anesthesiology
Cardiac Anesthesiology Fellowship
TEE certified (NBE Advanced Perioperative Echocardiography testamur status)
Nebraska license or IMLC
Clean malpractice/background history
