Schedule:
- Shifts vary: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, 5:00 PM, or 7:00 PM
- Call required:
- 1–2 weekday calls per week
- Occasional 24-hour weekend call
- 30-minute response time
Coverage Dates:
- October: 10–11, 24
- November: 2–4, 15, 21, 23–25, 27, 30
- December: 14–18, 16–17, 21–24, 28–29, 31
Facility:
- Acute care hospital setting
- Supervision model: 1 MD to 4 CRNAs
- EMR: Medaxion
Case Mix:
- Facility 1: General, vascular, neuro, OB/GYN (~1,000 deliveries/year), urology
- No hearts or complex pediatrics
- Facility 2:
- Healthy peds (ENT, dental; typically age 1+)
- Cataracts, ortho (no totals), endoscopy
Procedural Skills Required:
- Must be proficient in:
- Spinals
- Epidurals
- Regional blocks (brachial plexus, interscalene, adductor, popliteal, truncal, lower extremity)
- Case logs required to verify experience
Requirements:
- Active North Carolina license (required, no licensing offered)
- NC DEA required
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
- EPIC experience required
