A leading regional healthcare system is seeking experienced Board-Certified Anesthesiologists for a long-term locum tenens opportunity at a busy Level I Trauma Center in Colorado.

This assignment offers a high-volume, collaborative practice environment with a well-established anesthesia team, modern facilities, and ongoing coverage needs.

Schedule

Weekday Coverage

• Monday – Friday
• 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Weekend Day Coverage

• Consecutive 10-hour shifts
• Friday through Monday
• Additional shifts may be available

Weekend Night Coverage

• In-house coverage
• No call-back requirements
• Consecutive overnight shifts available

Practice Setting

• Trauma Center
• Approximately 60 Surgical Cases Daily
• Adult and Trauma-Focused Practice
• Collaborative Team of Anesthesiologists and CRNAs
• Supervision of CRNAs and Anesthesia Assistants Required
• Electronic Medical Records: Epic

Required Procedures

Candidates must be proficient in:

• General Anesthesia
• Regional Anesthesia
• Spinal Anesthesia
• Epidural Anesthesia
• Central Line Placement
• Arterial Line Placement
• Ultrasound-Guided Blocks
• Acute Pain Management
• Ventilation Management
• Hemodynamic Management
• Peripheral Nerve Blocks
• CRNA Supervision

Qualifications

Required

• Board Certified in Anesthesiology
• Active State Medical License or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact Eligibility
• Minimum of 2 Years of Level I Trauma Experience Beyond Residency
• Ability to Perform Central Lines Independently
• Comfortable Managing Pediatric Cases
• Experience with Open Vascular Procedures
• Ability to Commit to Two Consecutive Weeks Per Month Including Weekends
• Current BLS Certification
• Current ACLS Certification
• Current PALS or APLS Certification
• Recent Self-Query NPDB Report
