A regional healthcare system is seeking a **Board Certified/Board Eligible Anesthesiologist** to serve as **Medical Director of Surgical Services and Chief of Anesthesia**. ### Leadership Responsibilities
As the physician leader for anesthesia and surgical services, responsibilities include:
* Collaborate with surgical services leadership to improve operational efficiency
* Coordinate anesthesia staffing and resource utilization
* Address patient, physician, and staff concerns
* Assist with development, implementation, and education of policies and procedures
* Partner with surgeons and procedural specialists to optimize perioperative care
* Lead quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
* Support service line growth, innovation, and strategic planning
* Participate in change management and operational improvement efforts
* Work within a dyad leadership model alongside Surgical Services administration

### Qualifications
* MD or DO
* Board Certified or Board Eligible through the American Board of Anesthesiology
* Completion of an ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology Residency
* Minimum five years of clinical practice experience
* Previous medical director or physician leadership experience preferred
* Demonstrated success in:
* Quality improvement
* Patient safety initiatives
* Hospital operations
* Change management
