A respected acute care hospital in Bloomington, Illinois is seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist for a long-term locums assignment. This opportunity offers a diverse case mix, flexible scheduling, strong support staff, and the potential for an extended engagement.

Position Highlights

Case Mix

Providers will work a broad range of cases including:

• General Surgery

• Cardiac Cases

• Open Hearts

• Neurosurgery

• Orthopedics

• OB

Please note: Candidates must be cardiac-capable and comfortable with open heart cases. Cardiac fellowship and TEE experience are not required.

Practice Environment

• 9 anesthesia rooms

• Supervision model with CRNAs

• Typical supervision ratio of 1:4

• Occasional personal case coverage required

• Flexible team-oriented environment

• Established anesthesia department

Requirements

✔ Board Certified Anesthesiologist

✔ Cardiac-capable with open heart experience

✔ Active state license required

✔ Comfortable supervising CRNAs and performing own cases when needed
