An exceptional locum tenens Anesthesiology opportunity is now available in Wesley Chapel, Florida for board-certified physicians seeking a flexible daytime schedule in a high-efficiency surgical environment. This premier travel assignment offers a predictable weekday schedule, expedited credentialing, and exposure to a diverse orthopedic-focused case mix in a modern outpatient setting.
This high-demand opportunity is ideal for anesthesiologists who enjoy a balanced work-life schedule while maintaining strong clinical autonomy and collaborative team-based care. Providers will work within a supportive care team model handling orthopedic, spine, and pain management procedures in a fast-paced surgery center environment.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform regional anesthesia blocks as part of perioperative patient care
• Manage anesthesia for cases ranging from carpal tunnel procedures to total joint replacements
• Supervise CRNAs and independently manage anesthesia cases as needed
• Maintain accurate patient documentation using Ipro EMR system
• Collaborate with surgeons, CRNAs, and surgical staff to ensure quality patient care
Qualifications
• Active Florida medical license required
• Minimum 2 years of Anesthesiology experience required
• Regional block experience required
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• Must be available for full-time coverage
Working Hours
• Day shifts: 6:15 AM – 3:00 PM
• Occasional flex scheduling up to 5:00 PM
• No weekend coverage required
• No call requirements
