Opportunity Overview

We are seeking Anesthesiologists to provide coverage in a hospital setting in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania.

This role offers a dynamic mix of surgical anesthesia, procedural support, and call coverage, ideal for physicians comfortable with a wide range of cases.

Schedule & Coverage

📅 Start: May 2026
⏳ Ongoing assignment

⏰ Standard Shifts: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (10-hour shifts)
📞 Call: Required
✔️ Weeknight Call: 3:00 PM – 7:00 AM
✔️ Occasional 16-hour call shifts

📌 Coverage Need: 3–4 FTEs

Key Responsibilities

💉 Provide anesthesia for a wide variety of procedures
🧠 Perform and manage:
✔️ MAC anesthesia
✔️ Regional & nerve blocks
✔️ Spinal anesthesia
✔️ Ultrasound-guided techniques

🏥 Cover multiple specialties including:
✔️ Orthopedics (high volume)
✔️ OB/GYN
✔️ General Surgery
✔️ GI, Urology, Plastics, Vascular, Robotics, Pediatrics

🤝 Supervise CRNAs (1:3 care team model)
📝 Document care using Epic EMR

Clinical Environment

🏥 Acute care hospital (~135 beds)
👨‍⚕️ Care team model (1 anesthesiologist : 3 CRNAs)
📊 High-volume surgical environment
👶 Patient population: all ages

Required Qualifications

🎓 MD/DO degree
🏅 Board Certified/Eligible in Anesthesiology
📜 Active Pennsylvania medical license (or willingness to obtain)
❤️ ACLS & PALS certifications required
🧠 Minimum 2+ years of experience preferred

Key Skills Required

💉 Strong experience in regional anesthesia (nerve blocks)
🧠 Proficiency in ultrasound-guided techniques
⚕️ Comfortable managing diverse surgical cases
📞 Willingness to take night call when needed
