Locums Anesthesiology Physician

We are seeking a Locums Anesthesiology Physician to provide coverage in Jupiter, FL. This role offers a full-time schedule with weekday shifts and structured beeper call coverage. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing a wide range of surgical cases in a high-volume, multi-specialty environment.

Schedule & Call

• Weekday Shifts: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Shift Structure: Five 8-hour or five 10-hour shifts per week
• Weekend Requirements: Beeper call coverage
• On-Call Requirements: Beeper call coverage
• Coverage Expectation: Minimum of 4 weeks/month; no PRN coverage

Practice Setting & Case Types

• Multi-specialty surgical practice
• Cases include: General Surgery, Orthopedics, GI, Robotics, OB, Radiology, Endocrine, Ophthalmology, Plastics, ENT, Neurosurgery
• Trauma: Not included
• Dedicated cardiac team for heart procedures
• Collaborative perioperative environment with OR staff and anesthesiology team

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for a diverse range of surgical procedures
• Monitor and manage perioperative patient care
• Ensure safe administration of anesthesia in accordance with standards
• Communicate effectively with surgeons, nursing, and OR staff
• Document patient care accurately in the EMR

Requirements & Certifications

• Board Certified in Anesthesiology
• Active Florida medical license
• ACLS, BLS (AHA), PALS certifications
