We are seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist for an ongoing locum opportunity in Lewisburg, PA. This role offers a dynamic case mix across multiple specialties with a combination of scheduled shifts and call coverage. Ideal for providers experienced in regional anesthesia and looking for a collaborative hospital environment.
Job Responsibilities
Administer anesthesia for a wide range of surgical procedures 🏥
Perform regional, spinal, and MAC anesthesia techniques
Provide perioperative patient care and monitoring
Participate in weekday and overnight call coverage ⏰
Collaborate with CRNAs and surgical teams
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology ✔️
Active Pennsylvania license (or willingness to obtain)
ACLS & PALS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of experience preferred
Working Hours
Day shifts: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM ⏰
5 shifts per week (10-hour shifts)
Additional 16-hour call shifts (3 PM – 7 AM as needed) 📅
Skills
Expertise in regional (nerve block), spinal, and MAC anesthesia 💉
Ability to handle diverse surgical cases
Strong clinical judgment and patient care skills
Familiarity with EPIC EMR
