Anesthesiologist (MD/DO) – Locum Tenens Opportunity
Lewisburg, Pennsylvania
An exciting locum tenens opportunity is available for Anesthesiologists in Lewisburg, PA. This assignment offers a broad case mix, strong team support, and a consistent schedule with ongoing coverage needs.
Assignment Overview
- Start Date: May start (ongoing need)
- Schedule:
- 5 days per week
- 10-hour shifts: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Additional 16-hour call shifts
- Weekday call: 3:00 PM – 7:00 AM (must be willing to participate)
- Coverage Needed: 3–4 Anesthesiologists
- Patient Population: All ages
Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care across a wide variety of cases
- Perform and manage:
- MAC (Monitored Anesthesia Care)
- Regional anesthesia
- Spinal anesthesia
- Ultrasound-guided techniques
Case Mix
- Vascular
- OB/GYN
- General Surgery
- GI
- Pediatrics (some cases)
- Plastics
- Orthopedics
- Robotics
- Urology
Practice Details
- Care team model: 1:3 MDA to CRNA ratio
- EMR: Epic
- Collaborative and supportive clinical environment
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- ACLS and PALS required
- Must be comfortable with a wide range of procedures and patient populations
- Willingness to participate in call coverage required
