Locums Anesthesiologist – Burlington/Mebane, North Carolina (Float Pool)
Assignment Type / Availability:
- PRN Day Shift: April 30 + future dates
- Call Coverage: June 6, 12, 19 + future
- Ongoing: Starting June 22, 40 hrs/week
- Providers rotate between Burlington & Mebane sites
Schedule:
- Shifts: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Call REQUIRED:
- 1–2x per week
- Occasional 24-hour weekend call
- Response time: 30 minutes
Practice Setting:
- Supervision model: 1 MD : 4 CRNAs
- EMR: Epic
Licenses & Certifications (REQUIRED):
- North Carolina medical license
- DEA / CSR
- ACLS, PALS, BLS
Experience / Skills Requirements:
- Proficient in:
- Spinals
- Blocks
- Epidurals
- Case logs required
Case Mix:
Burlington Site:
- General, vascular, neuro, OB/GYN (~1,000 deliveries/year), urology
- Excludes: hearts & complex pediatrics
Mebane Site:
- Healthy peds (dental & ENT; typically age 1+)
- ENT, cataracts, orthopedics (no totals), endoscopy
Team / Volume:
- Burlington: 4 physicians, 15 CRNAs/day (14 sites); call at Alamance
- Mebane: 1 physician, 3 CRNAs/day (3 sites)
