We are actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Anesthesiology Physician to provide exceptional anesthesia care in a reputable hospital setting. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide anesthesia services for adult patients, supporting approximately 10 cases daily
- Manage anesthesia during a variety of procedures, with proficiency in nerve blocks for orthopedic surgeries
- Collaborate with CRNAs and anesthesia techs to ensure safe and effective patient care
- Support full-time coverage, working a flexible schedule with shifts of 5x8 hours or 2x8 hours plus 24 hours rotation
- Document care accurately using EPIC EMR system
- Maintain compliance with all licensing, certification, and hospital policies
Required Skills:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in anesthesia
- PA license and DEA certification
- ACLS certification
- Proficiency in performing nerve blocks for orthopedic cases
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with high-volume hospital settings
- Additional certifications in advanced anesthesia techniques
- Familiarity with hospital electronic health records beyond EPIC
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited program
- Active PA license with the ability to obtain credentialing within 90 days
- Prior experience in a hospital environment
Other Requirements:
- Valid PA medical license and DEA license
- Willingness to support day shifts with rotation in call coverage
- Ability to work in a 76-bed hospital with surgical, labor & delivery, and cath lab services
- Travel reimbursements and other expenses covered where applicable
