Description
A Pennsylvania healthcare system is seeking an Anesthesiologist for ongoing coverage with daytime shifts and rotating call responsibilities. This opportunity offers a consistent 40-hour weekly schedule with flexibility between 5x8s or a combination including 24-hour call.
The role focuses primarily on adult patients with orthopedic cases requiring proficiency in regional blocks.

Job Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia for surgical procedures
- Perform regional blocks for orthopedic cases
- Participate in rotating call coverage
- Manage perioperative patient care
- Collaborate with CRNAs and anesthesia techs
- Document cases using Epic EMR
Qualifications
- MD or DO required
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
- Active Pennsylvania license required or willingness to obtain
- DEA required
- ACLS required
- Minimum 1 year experience required
- Regional block experience required
- Epic EMR experience preferred
Working Hours
Schedule Options:
5 x 8-hour shifts
OR
2 x 8-hour shifts + 24-hour call (40 hours total)
Shift Time:
7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Call:
Rotating call coverage
Patient Volume:
Approximately 10 cases per day
