A Midwest hospital is seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist for an ongoing locum opportunity. Coverage includes a mix of call and occasional OR shifts with flexible scheduling.

Requirements:

Board Certified

Active state license or IMLC

Clean malpractice preferred
Job Responsibilities
Manage and respond to call coverage, including callbacks
Perform pre-op, intra-op, and post-op patient care
Deliver safe anesthesia for a variety of surgical cases
Collaborate with surgical and clinical teams
Qualifications
Active state license or IMLC eligibility (required)
Clean malpractice history (preferred)
Availability for listed coverage dates (required)
Prior locum or hospital-based experience preferred
Working Hours
Night call and 24-hour call shifts required
Occasional OR coverage: 7a–3p or 7a–5p
Flexible scheduling with ongoing coverage needs
Skills
Ability to manage call independently and respond to callbacks
Excellent patient care and communication skills
Efficient in fast-paced hospital environments
