Coverage Needed
- June 1, 2026 - September 30, 2026
- Schedule: Flexible Schedule, M-F: 7am-3:30pm plus on-call as agreed upon
- On-call required
Clinical Details
- Primary anesthesiologist for bread and butter surgical cases
- Highest volume in ortho and general surgery cases
- Call includes OB; must be within 15 minutes
- 4-5 cases per day, roughly 700-800 deliveries per year
- 100% OR work, no clinic work
- Procedures required: All bread and butter surgery, no CT, neuro, or cranial cases
- Preferred procedures: OB/Gyn, ortho, general surgery, plastic surgery, vascular, colo-rectal surgery, ENT, GI, Urology
- Regional blocks for OR cases; no outpatient pain management
- Trauma Level: Level III with ACS
- EMR: EPIC
- Support Staff: Approx. 15 MDs, 2 CRNAs, anesthesia techs, PAs, nurses, OR techs, directors, managers
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Active NY License
- ACLS required; MMR needed
- Experience with healthy pediatric cases welcomed
- Rarely supervise a CRNA
- Must work as part of a multi-disciplinary OR team
