A hospital in Jupiter, Florida is seeking Board Certified Anesthesiologists to provide anesthesia services for a variety of inpatient surgical procedures.
The physician will deliver anesthesia care across multiple surgical specialties including general surgery, orthopedics, robotics, gastrointestinal procedures, obstetrics, radiology procedures, endoscopy, ophthalmology, plastic surgery, ENT, and neurosurgery. A dedicated cardiac anesthesia team handles cardiac cases.
The role operates within a care team model where anesthesiologists supervise CRNAs while also participating in direct patient care.

Job Responsibilities
• Administer and monitor anesthesia for surgical procedures
• Supervise CRNAs within a collaborative care team model
• Manage perioperative anesthesia care and patient safety
• Coordinate anesthesia plans with surgical teams
• Monitor patients during surgery and recovery phases
• Document anesthesia care in the facility EMR system
• Participate in scheduled call coverage as required
Qualifications
• Board Certification in Anesthesiology required
• Active Florida Medical License preferred
• Ability to obtain Florida licensure if not currently active
• Experience in hospital-based anesthesia practice preferred
• Strong collaboration skills within multidisciplinary surgical teams
Working Hours
Shift Options:
• 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Coverage Requirement: Full-time schedule
Call Requirement: Beeper call coverage required including weekends
