We are seeking a Board-Certified Cardiovascular Anesthesia Physician to provide locum coverage at a hospital in Richmond, Virginia. This is an ongoing assignment working with adult patients in an inpatient setting, supporting cardiovascular surgeries and procedures. The provider will be cross-credentialed at all three hospital sites and participate in call shifts as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide anesthesia care for adult cardiovascular surgical patients, including preoperative assessment, intraoperative management, and postoperative care
- Collaborate closely with cardiovascular surgeons, perfusionists, and the multidisciplinary OR team to ensure safe and effective care
- Respond to anesthesia-related emergencies and provide critical care support as needed
- Participate in call rotations and provide coverage for urgent or emergent cases
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and patient safety standards
- Cross-credentialed coverage at all three hospital sites as required
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited anesthesia residency program
- Board-Certified in Anesthesiology and participating in MOC
- Current State Medical License (or ability to obtain)
- DEA and CSR certification required
- Ability to work call shifts and cross-cover multiple sites
