Practice Details
- Department has a multi-disciplinary practice style
- Position consists of pain management through procedures, medications, psychology, sleep medicine, physical therapy, integrative health, and nutrition
- Management of medications including non-opioid & opioid for select patients (not many)
- Managing patients with intrathecal pain pumps
- Outpatient based department with ambulatory surgery center block time
- Strong referral network from both internal and external providers
- Very strong relationship with orthopedic, podiatry, and sports medicine department who is a primary contributor to the spine clinic within the institution
- Sanford’s Pain Management Services provides outpatient service weekdays only (no call on weekends or evenings)
