Locums | CRNA | Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call | La Grande, OR Why This Role

  • Bread-and-butter cases with no hearts, heads, or spine
  • Supportive environment with experienced CRNAs and medical staff
  • Coverage needed due to planned PTO
Assignment Details Dates: May 4 – May 29 Schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts per week Call: Up to 1:4 - 1–2 weekday call shifts per week - 1 weekend per month - OB proficiency required if taking call EMR: Epic Facility: Critical Access Hospital ORs: 5 ORs plus Cysto and Endoscopy suites Anesthesia coverage typically runs 2–4 rooms per day Clinical Details Case volume averages 5–20 cases per day (including endoscopy and cataracts) Case mix includes: - Orthopedics - General surgery - Podiatry - ENT - Healthy pediatrics - Urology - OB/GYN - Occasional endoscopy No cardiac, neuro, or spine cases Autonomous CRNA model Anesthesia team includes 1 MD and 4 CRNAs Anesthesia Director: Brad Close, CRNA Skills Needed Spinal anesthesia OB anesthesia Epidurals Endoscopy Peripheral nerve blocks Ultrasound-guided procedures PICC line experience preferred but not required Requirements Active Oregon CRNA license Board Certified CRNA BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA) DEA preferred OB competency required for call COVID-19 vaccination required Compensation Rates: Facility accepting bids Malpractice: Provided Travel and lodging: Reimbursed per facility policy
