ya Locums is seeking a skilled Physician – Anesthesiologist to provide locum services in Bloomington, Illinois. This is an excellent opportunity for an Anesthesiologist looking for flexible scheduling and a rewarding work environment at a high-volume acute care hospital. Coverage is needed starting May 18, 2026, and is ongoing.

Job Details:

• Case Types: General, Cardiac, Neuro, Ortho, and OB.

  • Note: For Cardiac cases, a fellowship and TEE proficiency are not required.

• Setting: 9 Anesthesia rooms; MDs supervise CRNAs (1:4 ratio) and do not typically perform their own cases.

• Schedule: 8 and 10-hour weekday shifts. Weekend pager call and night call (19:00 – 07:00) options are available.

• Support: Working within a Care Team Model (NAPA).

• EMR System: Epic.

Requirements:

• Board Certification: Board Certification or Fellowship is required.

• State License: Illinois license (Willing to license qualified candidates).

• Credentialing: Estimated 90-day timeframe; Emergency and Temporary privileges are available for clean files.

• Vaccinations: COVID-19 and Flu vaccines are required.
