A highly respected, physician-led hospital in Vermont is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Anesthesiologist to join a collegial and well-established team of five anesthesiologists alongside experienced CAAs and CRNAs.

This organization is the largest community hospital in the region and the second-largest hospital in the state, employing over 1,700 team members and supported by a medical staff of more than 300 physicians and advanced practice providers representing over 40 specialty areas.

Due to continued surgical growth and expansion of services , including the development of additional procedural capacity , the department is expanding its anesthesia team. This is a growth-driven recruitment, not a replacement.

The anesthesia group serves as the exclusive provider for this 144-bed, Level III–equivalent Trauma Center serving a population of approximately 85,000.

This opportunity offers strong general anesthesiology practice without high-acuity cardiac or neuro burden.

Schedule & Call Structure

  • Shared weekday call (Monday–Thursday)
  • Average 3–4 call days per month
  • Post-call day off
  • Weekend call (Friday–Sunday) covered by a separate team
  • 10 weeks of paid vacation annually

The practice is intentionally structured to support sustainability and work-life balance.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Total yearly compensation: $550,000+
  • $25,000 annual retention bonus
