seeking 1 Locum Anesthesiologist specialized in Obstetrics for an urgent need starting March 22 in Davenport, IA. This is a full-time locum opportunity covering OB services only at the Facility's Davenport Campus. The facility handles approximately 2,100 deliveries annually with a 25% C-section rate. No CRNA coverage and no APP supervision required.
Job Responsibilities
• Handle 24-hour in-house call shifts
• Work up to 2–3 consecutive days at a time
• Manage anesthesia for approximately 2,100 annual deliveries (25% C-section rate)
• Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation
• Collaborate with inpatient OB Hospitalist team
• Ensure timely and accurate clinical documentation
Qualifications
• Active Iowa (IA) Medical License – REQUIRED
• Must be experienced – REQUIRED
• Must be specialized in Obstetrics – REQUIRED (note at name clear)
• Clean Malpractice & Background History – REQUIRED
• NPDB report (within last 30–90 days) – REQUIRED
• Must confirm availability to start March 22 (or provide earliest available date)
Working Hours
• 7 days per week locum coverage needed
• Physicians may work only 2–3 consecutive days
• 24-hour in-house call shifts
• Weekend coverage: As needed
