An established hospital in Davenport, Iowa is seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist with Obstetrics specialization for an urgent full-time locum assignment starting Asap
This opportunity is OB anesthesia in a busy inpatient setting.
📅 Schedule
- Start Date: ASAP
- 7 days per week coverage needed
- Physicians may work 2–3 consecutive days maximum
- 24-hour in-house call shifts
- No clinic responsibilities
🏥 Practice Details
- Inpatient OB services
- Approximately 2,100 deliveries annually
- ~25% C-section rate
No telehealth - EMR: Cerner
✔ OB Hospitalist onsite
✔ Imaging, lab, and pharmacy services available
🔎 Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services for obstetric patients
- Manage epidurals and C-sections
- In-house 24-hour coverage
- Collaborate with OB team for labor & delivery support
✅ Requirements
✔ Board Certified in Anesthesiology
✔ Active Iowa License
✔ Recent NPDB (within last month or 90 days max)
