Job Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality anesthesia care for obstetric patients.
- Perform 24-hour in-house call shifts, ensuring continuous patient monitoring and care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
- Participate in patient assessments and post-anesthesia evaluations.
- Maintain accurate and updated medical records using Cerner EMR.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Anesthesiology.
- Active Iowa Medical License.
- Experience in anesthesiology, specifically with obstetric procedures.
- Clean malpractice and background history (must provide NPDB within last month).
License and Certification Requirements:
- Must possess a valid and active state medical license in Iowa.
- Board certification in anesthesiology is required.
- Specialization in obstetrics must be clearly noted during application.
