Anesthesiologist Needed in Northeastern Maryland
Start Date: April 2026
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule
Day shift: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM (Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts)
Weeknight beeper call required
Weekend beeper call required
In-house call not required
Overtime not expected but available
Practice Details
Acute care community hospital
Small anesthesia team (3 full-time anesthesiologists)
Staffing model: MD supervision of CRNAs (3:1 CRNA to MD ratio)
3 anesthesia rooms
MDs both supervise and perform own cases
Charting: Cerner
Clinical Scope
Case types include:
General
Orthopedics
OB
Pediatrics
Mix of supervision and hands-on cases
Requirements
Physician – Anesthesiology
Board Certified or Fellowship Trained
Active Maryland license required (no licensing offered)
DEA required
Credentialing
Estimated timeframe: approximately 45 days
Full hospital onboarding required
Location
Northeastern Maryland — community hospital setting near the Delaware state line, within driving distance to Wilmington and the greater Baltimore region.
