Join a high-performing Anesthesiology team in Muskegon, Michigan, delivering comprehensive anesthesia services in a state-of-the-art Level II Trauma Center. This full-time or part-time Anesthesiologist opportunity offers a flexible FTE model (approx. 2200 hours annually for 1.0 FTE) with shared call and holiday rotation for balanced scheduling.
Practice within a collaborative care team model supervising CRNAs, while maintaining opportunities to personally perform cases. Work across 20 operating rooms, heart & vascular suites, endoscopy, OB, and advanced surgical services including cardiothoracic, neurosurgery, vascular, orthopedic trauma, and interventional cardiology.
Job Responsibilities
• Deliver care in OR, OB, endoscopy, cardiothoracic, vascular, and radiology settings
• Supervise and medically direct CRNAs within a collaborative model
• Perform and/or oversee advanced regional anesthesia and peripheral nerve blocks
• Participate in shared call and holiday rotations
• Support enhanced recovery and surgical optimization initiatives
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient safety standards
Qualifications
• Active Michigan medical license (or willingness to obtain)
• DEA certification (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• ACLS and BLS certification
• Proficiency or willingness to train in peripheral nerve blocks and regional anesthesia techniques
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
